Terms of Use (the main points)

1. Each time you use the services of, or submit a listing to, Clearmoon Business Directory you confirm your acceptance of our Terms of Use (Terms and Conditions).

2. Listing subscribers may occasionally receive email sent via the directory database, it is not possible to remove you from these mailings as we do not use a mailing list, the only way you can elect not to receive this email is to have your directory listing removed, please inform us if you wish to be removed from the Directory.

3. We take your privacy seriously; we do not sell, rent or pass on your details to anyone else.

4. After your listing has been accepted you can log in and make changes at any time

5. You may not add website addresses or email addresses into the Listing Title, Description or Postal Address fields of your listing, this applies to all listings, paid listings have a website link built in.  If you add your website address but simply remove the co.uk .net .com etc your listing will be rejected.

If your listing level permits it, your website address may be added to the Website link field in your listing.

N.B. please use a sensible Listing Title, no more than four or five words at most, abuse of this will result in rejection of your listing.

6. If your listing has to be removed for a breach of our Terms of Use (Terms and Conditions) no refund will be given.

7. We have a zero tolerance policy with regard to abusive or aggressive behaviour. The entire directory is human edited and subscribers who cannot adhere to this policy will be removed from the directory and in this case no refunds will be given.

8. Each membership level in the Directory has its own set of listing features, directory members may also register as an Author to submit Articles and Blogs.  If you require features not included in your listing level you should upgrade. 

9. If you add into your listing information anything that is not included in your membership level, your listing will on the first occasion be rejected, if this occurs you will need to login and amend your changes prior to re-inclusion, on a second occasion your listing will be removed from the directory.

10. Logo uploads; you may upload your business logo if your membership level permits this. Logos may not contain any embedded email, telephone numbers or website addresses.

11. Support is only provided for members who have a Premium or Gold membership, please raise a ticket via the HelpDesk, including your registered email address, and the Listing title along with a description of the issue you are experiencing.

Terms and Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Clearmoon Business Services.  The use of ‘Clearmoon’ in this policy is inclusive to all services provided by Clearmoon

Each time you use services provided by Clearmoon, by doing so you are accepting the practices described in these Terms and Conditions.

The data contained in this database is provided by Clearmoon and is for reference purposes only. Clearmoon does not warranty the completeness or accuracy of data.

By accessing this website you agree that you will use this data contained herein for lawful purposes only and agree NOT to:

1. Allow, enable or otherwise support the unsolicited distribution of commercial advertising by electronic mail, direct mail, facsimile or telephone.

2. Compile, collect, aggregate, repackage, sell, barter, distribute or otherwise disseminate the data without the written consent of Clearmoon.

3. Unlawfully obtain records or information from Clearmoon via screen-scraping (the capturing or copying of information displayed on-screen via an automated electronic process) or other automated processes designed to bypass current website functionality.

Please Note: Listings may not contain email addresses or website links, with or without the co.uk or .com etc in the Listing Title, Postal Address or Description fields of the listing. Your website address may only be added to the website link field in your listing.

Clearmoon reserves the right to reject or remove any listing submitted at their sole discretion.

DEAD LISTINGS: In order to maintain the integrity of the directory it is important that all listing subscribers update or remove their listings if they are no longer valid for any reason e.g. changes of address, email, phone number etc.

REFUNDS: Refunds may be made at the discretion of the Company and in all cases are subject to a £15 administration fee.

LIMITED WARRANTY: Clearmoon cannot and does not assume any liability for the correctness or comprehensiveness of the information herein. Clearmoon makes no warranties, express or implied, including without limitation, any express or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. In no event shall Clearmoon be liable for lost profits, consequential, incidental, or special damages, or other claims.

Clearmoon reserves the right to terminate access to the Clearmoon database at its sole discretion. Clearmoon is not in any way responsible for any products sold by individual directory subscribers via their listings. Clearmoon is not responsible for the suitability, functionality and conduct of third party payment gateways, e.g. PayPal, Nochex etc. You agree to indemnify us from responsibility for problems/disruptions caused by payment gateway, server or ISP downtime. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability. We take all reasonable steps to keep the service functioning; but in common with all websites published on the internet, the service may become unavailable without warning at any time.

PRIVACY

• Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies to serve ads on your site.
• Google's use of the DART cookie enables it to serve ads to your users based on their visit to your sites and other sites on the Internet.
• Users may opt out of the use of the DART cookie by visiting the Google ad and content network privacy policy.
